Wildlife photographers are doing a great effort to capture wildlife scenes. Sometimes it can be a perfect photo and sometimes it can be hilarious. Those comedy photos go to the contest called comedic wildlife photos. Then they held the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards and it is world-famous now.

The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards was founded by two professional photographers named Paul Joynson-Hicks MBE and Tom Sullam back in 2015. Their objective was to make hard-working people smile and show them that life is great from this competition. Apart from that, they help promote the conservation of wildlife and their habitats.

It is hard to choose the winners of this competition because all the images in the contest are great. They reported a record-breaking year in 2021 entry-wise. In this new season, they share 10 images that were never-before-seen from the competition that was held on last year. So, scroll down those pictures below.

The competition partnered up with the Whitley Fund for Nature (WFN) this year, it is a charity based in the UK that supports conservation. This charity has managed to channel £19 million to 200+ conservationists in around 80 countries in the 29 years that it’s been active.

Anyone can enter the competition and it’s free to enter. It also offers amazing prizes for the winners. This year winners will receive a once-in-a-lifetime safari in the Maasai Mara in Kenya and an Alex Walker’s Serian hand-made trophy from The Wonder Workshop in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Also, they will have bragging rights as the 2022 Comedy Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Those prizes are for the grand prize winner. Other category winners also get a Think Tank camera bag and a certificate.
To submit, there are 6 different categories, Creatures of the Air, Creatures of the Land, Underwater Category, Video Category, Junior Category, and Portfolio Category.

People like to be part of the competition because it’s free then nothing to lose and they might win. They explained to record being broken last year because because have created an even greater need for positivity in the world news.
