Taking a selfie is an art, and few people do it more than Alan Dixon. Gold Coast, an Australian-based content creator known as the “Animal Whisper,” stole our hearts many years ago when a photo of him with a smile went viral with a similarly noisy quoca. Since then, Dixon has continued to photograph small vultures smiling with monkeys, kangaroos, and cubs.
Each magnetic selfie depicts Dixon and his former friends posing as photographers. Dixon always seems to embrace the best side as well as the expression that shows their personality, whether it be an intriguing look, an eye on the watchful side, or an exhilarating excitement. Through these statues, we get to know the animal kingdom and learn that it has different personalities from the human race.
While this selfie may seem effortless, the honest appeal is a lot of work for Dixon. He spends a lot of time in the presence of the animal, then it is comfortable for him, and he wins its trust. Only then does he start taking selfies. That being said, it can take anywhere from five minutes to three hours to get that great photo.
In addition to his stunning animal photography, Dixon helps change his social impact online. On his popular Instagram account, he raises issues such as the single-use plastic problem and the lack of pet homes. Alan Dixon has been described as the “animal secret” who takes the best selfies with creatures ranging from quoca to cola.
