The Maidla Nature Villa is a perfect fitting villa for those who are looking for a hideaway surrounded by trees. This nature villa is labeled as a place “where nature meets history”. The villa is placed near a bog on the site of an old Estonian manor. This is not a single cabin, it’s the first one in the series of three new structures on the historic site.

b210 architects are the designer of this villa. Nature Villa KASEKE or Maidla Nature Villa is an inspiration from Estonian wetlands. This is the best place to explore natural sights and the 15th-century manor nearby; both sights help to learn the Estonian spirit.

The cabin is defined as a terrace that mimics the many layers of wetlands and provides ample space for outdoor relaxation. During the springtime, the chances of flooding increase, so to prevent flooding through the cabin, they elevated the cabin about one meter, or about three feet, off the ground.
Although the place where the cabin was built was surrounded by birch trees, designers didn’t harm any of them while making this cabin. They carefully built the cabin around the trees and cut holes in the cabin for trees to go through them.
Thermo ash was the material that was used to build this cabin. Thermo ash is a material that has a deep warm color and contrasts with the white birch surrounding it. For the inside, they used the warm wood palette paired with painted steel and dark, contemporary finishing throughout. The room also has storage solutions for guests’ luggage. It is also equipped with a minibar, a kitchen counter that is stocked with coffee and tea, and to spend a perfect cozy night indoors, they have a fireplace. To get a perfect view of the landscape, designers choose glass panels as walls for this cabin.
